Duh! I JUST realized Father's Day is this Sunday, June 21. I'm in a jam for time but I think I've got a big idea. My dad is a Trekkie. I mean he just loves all that Star Trek stuff even though to me some times it's kind of corny. Except the new Star Trek movie wasn't corny at all - it was way cool. Anyway, here's my idea: a Star Trek costume for dad. I mean he totally loves the shows so why not? Now the only question is Spock or Captain Kirk? That's sort of like a Coke or Pepsi decision. Or boxers or briefs except there's no way I want to think too hard about that when it's my dad! Anyway, I'm thinking a Star Trek costume for dad would be the ultimate cool Father's Day gift and way better than a necktie that he will never wear. He will wear a Star Trek costume to watch TV and the DVDs and who knows what else. But I still don't know if it should be Kirk or Spock. Maybe I should just get both :)
One thing is for sure - I'm getting dad Spock ears for Father's Day no matter what!

Hey did you know you could get free shippng on orders over $49.00 at SpiritHalloween? I don't know how long it's going to last but I noticed on their site you could get free shiping when you spend over $49 - well duh, I only wish I could ONLY spend $49. Seems I can't get out of any Halloween costume store for less than a couple hundred bucks! It's worth it just to get some cool decorations and also stuff for beach parties and bar crawls...in fact someone I know is having a toga party next weekend. I gotta go and check out what they have! Later!!!

Am I getting fat or what??? Okay, maybe it's just because it's bathing suit season and my booty in my bikini is a bit much but I do have some big girl friends and I feel their pain. I mean they're not even fat, they're just bigger than me - pretty, shapely, just big. So what are they supposed to do about getting clothes? And more important :) Halloween costumes that fit and look good? I looked around because the countdown to Halloween is underway even if it's beach time and I found out that Spirit Halloween has plus size costumes! Cute, fun plus-size Halloween costumes that are perfect in the design and cut and some of them are only available in plus sizes which kind of sucks because I liked a few and they won't fit me. But that's okay, my BFFs will all have cute costumes for Halloween-yay! And if I eat all the pizza and fries on the boardwalk like I want to, there will still be plenty of Halloween costumes for me to choose from. Go plus size!

OMG I just saw the cutest little bunny rabbit for a baby costume it makes me want to get a baby right now! That sounds bad I know but babies dressed up are so cute I can't stand it!!! A little ladybug, a baby giraffe, a little bumblebee....maybe the idea is to babysit on Halloween so then I can see all the cute babies dressed up. Wait, babies are sleeping then. Oh well, the thing is that trick or treating with a baby could be so fun. My mom has a picture of her when she was like four years old and she's in a cat suit and her mom, my grandmom, is dressed up like a sexy catlady in cat-eye glassses and a scarf and it is so cool. So imagine all the little babies now being dressed up in Halloween costumes and getting pictures taken and looking back at them when they are like twenty and laughing! Hey, how come at the mall for Halloween they don't have a giant pumpkin or a ghost or witch or something sitting at the mall so you can get your picture taken like when you go see Santa? Those pictures would be way more cool and then there would be lots of babies in costumes lol. I saw a little devil costume that was so cute! And babies in bunting that looks like candy bars, how cute is that?

I was going through my mom's stuff the other day and found some groovy hippie stuff from way back when like forever ago but anyway actually it was kinda cool :) so now I'm thinking about having a swinging sixties party! Cuz I LOVE love love the mod mini dresses and the pop look bold prints and all that. Sort of shagadelic, sort of happening and very retro. I saw some costumes at SpiritHalloween.com - some Laugh-In TV show kind of Goldie Hawn crazy mini dresses that would be so fun for me and me BFFs to wear as a girl gang gone retro. I kind of don't really get the hippie part or at least how the hippies and the mods got together but maybe it's like the Beatles all together now sort of a psychedelic thing I don't know. Anyway I think my guy friends would look cute in tie-dye shirts and hippie glasses lol. Or even a peace sign shirt or something sort of like a Halloween costume but not really. So yea here's the idea: swinging sixties party, come dressed like a hippie or a mod, sixties music, love beads at the door, some kind of kool-aid maybe spiked and lots of tie-dye, maybe we could even make it a tie-dye party that would be fun! OMG! I just saw a Macy's ad for the Summer of Love with a super-cute tie-dye dress! I LOVE love luv that idea as the name for my party! Haight-Ashbury here we come!

Did you know there's a new Star Trek movie coming out and Spirit Halloween has Star Trek Movie costumes? Okay so here's the cool thing, well actually there are a lot of cool Star Trek things but anyway, the movie is Star Trek 11, but they don't use the number 11, it's just that anyone who's into Star Trek knows it's the 11th movie. But here's the big deal - it's the prequel, which means the movie pretty much explains how Captain Kirk and Spock and everyone else ended up on the USS Enterprise. How cool is that?
Spirit Halloween must think it's very cool because they have some cool Star Trek costumes that are like the old Star Trek but new, if that makes sense. The Uhura costume is sexy and fun, and the adult Captain Kirk costume and Spock costume are just great. It would be really fun to dress in costume to see the movie (the movie opens May 7 but some theaters are doing a midnight show the night before for Trekkies) and it would be fun to have a kid's party and take the kids dressed in Star Trek costumes to a matinee. Even if you are only so-so about Star Trek this movie is supposed to be so great you turn into a Trekkie!
Transform yourself, your friends and your family into Trekkies with Star Trek movie costumes - you can get them at Spirit Halloween. OMG, check out the Spock ears!!!

Free Shipping is kind of a big deal – it makes it easy to check out all sorts of cool Halloween stuff without any extra charges. How many times do you see something in a magazine or catalog or online and then, when you go to buy it, the shipping charges are almost as expensive as what you wanted to buy. Good-bye to that! Check this out – you can get free shipping on Halloween costumes at Spirit Halloween. Pretty cool, huh? Free Shipping on Halloween costumes and Halloween stuff over $29.00. That makes it easy to try out interesting costumes and get Halloween stuff cheap. Plus you save time and money by not driving to the mall. Even better, if you spend over $50.00 you can get a $10.00 discount. Wow, that means more money to spend on cool Halloween stuff - that’s big!
Pretty much everyone’s looking for deals and ways to save money, but still have fun. Its fun to think about what Halloween costume you’ll be wearing, even though it’s kind of a long way until Halloween. But just looking at Halloween costumes keeps the spirit alive, sort of like a countdown to Christmas. Hey, why do they celebrate Christmas in July and not celebrate Halloween in May? That seems like a good idea. Oh well, you can celebrate with free shipping at least J
